Bar Manager

Our client is an established free hold hospitality venue, based in Nottingham City Centre. We are looking for an experienced and driven General Manager to lead the team and oversee day-to-day operations. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to take ownership of a venue and make a real impact, with an immediate start available.

Role Overview:
As General Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the venue, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, strong financial performance, and effective team leadership. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of the business including operations, staffing, compliance, and driving profitability.

Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure smooth daily operations of the pub, restaurant, and accommodation
• Maintain high service standards and deliver excellent guest experiences
• Oversee health & safety, licensing, and compliance
• Deliver agreed revenue and profitability KPI targets
• Monitor and report on KPIs weekly and monthly
• Recruit, train, and motivate staff
• Drive footfall and sales through local marketing initiatives
• Recommend and implement strategies for business improvement

Skills and Experience:
• Previous experience in a General Manager or senior hospitality management role
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Proven track record of delivering financial targets
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Good understanding of compliance, licensing, and health & safety regulations
